Far and away the most energy toward the end of the version on LiveDead, it being the culmination of the Dark Star/St Stephen/The Eleven extended jam, a first on vinyl to my knowledge. This is an excellent version,I've never heard anything tho that compares to the LiveDead version, it's been my favorite song (if I absolutely HAD to pick just one) since the first time I heard it back in the 70's. ya the version on live dead has the most energy in my opinion, goosebumps toward the end everytime, insane energy.

I LOVE this song. I've been a fan of the dead since I wasa bout 15 (1986) I heard that back in the day, this was the showstopper of Pigpen!
