Asra speaks a billion languages and has lived all over the place. But she's not a spy, she's a primary school teacher! We talked about her time volunteer teaching in Palestine, the hassles she got at the boarder from Israeli Occupation Forces, what it was like to grow up a refugee and what she sees for the future of Palestine.
Her interview is set in Jneed, a village near Nablus where she taught for 3 months in an old mosque turned into a library. The kids there were great, many thanks to them and their library.
Asra was volunteering with Project Hope, a grassroots non-profit in Nablus focused on cross-cultural education and community building.

Great interview by a great and inspirational young lady. Awesome to see Asra's infectious smile being spread to places and people who need it most. I am sure she has left an everlasting memory for these wonderful kids and the people she has met in Palestine. The world needs more people like Asra.....Wonderful to see a great story amidst a region with so many uncertanties and injustice. Job well done Asra!!
