saying that is not good for self development. I am a 3rd Dan Shito Ryu karateka, I also studied Jeet Kune Do under Gary Dill and loved boxing in my youth time. Jeet Kune Do IS good, Karate IS also good, learn what is useful, reject wath is useless... Kata, My friend is Tradition, its the pure technique. Let Nagaki strike your face with a gyako tsuki and tell me later.

Aren't you a little old to be arguing while contradicting yourself? You say you trained in all those different martial arts and never once did a kata? You my can talk all you want but a martial art doesn't become massively giant by being a worthless fighting style. It all depends on the user...and you have no self control with comments like those. No matter what I see you are a terrible fighter just judging by your pompous know it all attitude. Learn some respect.

@LECLUGER I know Asai sensei is not with us anymore, he was here in Mexico Cabos with me for seminar, just two mounts before he die, so this seminar was his last seminar out of Japan.
Nagaki sensei does not participate in Kata in WKF, only in JKS tournament.
Here some photos from seminar, also Yamaguchi and Ishimine sensei came to help him. ( I did not know he was sick) Asai sensei do not whant to cancel.

@LECLUGER Hello LECLUGER , My name is Jose Luis Moctezuma, I represent JKS in Mexico. Is it necesary to call me like that? I'm Disrespecting yourself?, I'm just giving my point of view, that is the way they taught me when I train at the hombu dojo in Japan for four months. JKS has changed a lot since it was formed by shihan Asai, so now we do some technical changes as Asai sensei wanted us to do.

Excellent kata, but I don't like the way he slid forward on his supporting foot when he did the rising of the knee after the Age Tsuki's. Maybe this was Yori Ashi ??
Which shouldn't be there.
Very unstable.
