Spend a minute to think about many families abandoning or ill-treating kids with disabilities. Many end up in the streets and alone. This guy is very inspirational, but the more inspirational is his parents and his family. It must have been a challenge to teach a kid to break the chain and finding a way to break it as well. Have no words to express, but wishing that we will support and stand-by disabled kids and lets not break their heart by poking at their disability.

@88keckers The point was the IOC allowed him to compete in the able-bodied olympics, and then after he won, disqualified him. As Katt Williams said, "Poor little tink tink, ain't that a bitch??"

Einfach nur NICE!!

@88keckers That's the point of the debate as to why he should/shouldn't be able to qualify for the olympics. Some say he has an advantage with your argument, others say he actually has a disadvantage with his muscle usage, where he uses 30% of what a typical sprinter uses.

@LitlaKisa He's a disabled man so he can't compete in the able bodied olympics. Seems fair to me, afterall there is a paraolympics for a reason.
I'm not taking anything away from the guy, I think he is amazing and is incredibly lucky to have been able to get over his disability and compete so phenomenally well. But he has an unfair advantage over the able bodied competitors since his prosthetic legs happen to have an advantage over muscle and bone.

I've never seen anything like this... now it makes me feel like I can accomplish anything..
And plus his voice is sexy xD I just love the accent :DDD

omg so cool! prosthetics fascinate me so much

It's amazing that the Olympics Committee considered a "disabled" man too able-bodied to compete. It's a complete inversion of what we are led to believe about disability. Pistorius is a true Olympian (in the Greek sense of the word!).

Wow Oscar Pistorius fits the bill for the message Nike wants to convey. Pick any of their lines, from "Leave Nothing" to "How quick are you gonna get up" to their classic "Just Do It"...hats off to this guy's bravery...Run Oscar, Run!!
I get goosebumps every time I see this. Go Oscar we know you kick ASS!
