Since it is impossible for bullets to kill you underwater, i would have to retract your first choice.

The producer/director or whomever should have done more research on the laws of physics before making that scene. Anyone that is familiar with guns knows that, which is why that scene is flawed.

T2 on the other hand delivered the goods. Another great scene would be the freeway scene in Matrix Reloaded....that might be one of the best action scenes in movie history.

T2 is meant to be Sci-fi, and it delivered as promised. You can expect that type of stuff from those movies.

Saving Private Ryan is supposed to be a vivid look of WWII, which is based on reality. You are totally missing the point of my post, but nice try buddy.

@professional80 It has been tested....it's not theory it's fact. If you shoot a gun straight down, it will travel no more than 2 1/2 to 3 feet, depending on the gun, and is NON-LETHAL. The more powerful the gun, the less water travel. If you shoot at an angle, as displayed in the movie, the bullet won't travel more than a foot in depth...it is what it is, I didn't make this stuff up. It's a solid movie, probably Spielberg's last great one in fact...all his new work is garbage.

Wow, I really didn't expect so may replies from the bullet comment. I was just stating the facts though, and I'm sorry to disappoint some of you. It's been rather amusing and entertaining to say the least. I'm not here to educate you guys, but they did a mythbusters on bullets traveling under water to back up my claim and it was busted....bullets cannot kill underwater, I'm sorry to let you guys down. The shotgun went the furthest, only because it's low velocity and the pellets disperse.

@Krispity311 bullets usually travel around 2-5 feet before directly stopping underwater, they are still going at high speeds, and the bullets didnt kill the soldiers it wounded them enough so they were not able to swim to the surface except for a few of them
