Many knights dream of getting to ride on a actual horse in armor at least once, and thanks to Dove and her owner ThreeJugs this wish came true.

Dove is the true star of this video. Not just any horse can handle the weight of a full grown man in heavy armor, much less the noise of the armor and so forth. However Dove is not only capible, but was the successful partner to ThreeJugs when she would joust in the S.C.A. ThreeJugs said she might not be able to fight, but she can sure hang onto a horse, and as you can imagine, ThreeJugs & Dove were quite a devistating team because of that.

Dove is of the line of horses the Spanish Conquistadors rode, so ThreeJugs made sure to equip Dove with the spanish bit (which Dove hated), and saddle of the time period. It is only appropriate that we used Gordon Lightfoot's song, "Don Quixote" for this video.
