This is a very short video that I made for my English class last year. The assignment was to pick a poem (I chose a sonnet by Edna St. Vincent Millay), find a bunch of still images, and then set it all to music. The easiest way to approach the assignment was to make a slideshow of pictures . . . but I went in a different direction. I found every image in this video by running Google image searches, and the music is an uncopyrighted piano piece that I just found somewhere online. The rest is in the editing. Highly experimental. Hope you like it.

  • i agree with previous comments. You video definitely gave me a better understanding of the poem. Well done!

  • good job !

  • I love your video. Great! It also gave me further insight into the poem. Thank you!

  • Very well done. I quite enjoyed it. I'm pleased that an old media (a poem on paper) can be given new life, new expression by a new media (internet & video tools). I think Millay would've approved.

  • Delightful! Thanks for sharing!

  • one of my favorite poems and poets- you should read Savage Beauty- her biography.

  • kick-ass
