  • I have the same issue with extruded acrylic (plexiglass) Melts like crazy and edge has to be sanding and polished. Really sucks.

  • in response to photolodge, higher RPM and faster feed - typ 18,000rpm and 300ipm depth of cut should be half of blade diameter to keep from breaking bit also use either single flute or up-spiral bits , Onsrud is my pref.

  • Blow air on it constantly

  • I have tryed to mill plexi glass and it melts to the bit. What is the secret?
