I heard this song being played in an episode of "The Simpsons "and I totally fell in love with the beat; I was DYING to know the name of the track and artist. :-) I finally found out shortly after and, since then, it's become one of my favorite songs! :-)

I have this re-recording on a ktel vinyl album, and its one of the few re recordings i actually think are better than the original.
Although this version needs a bit of work, it is better than the original

Surely this isn't the lead singer from the original line up?
It seems so many of the old girlie groups arent the original singers anyway. Rerecordings never work, as they lack something, even when done by the original singers,Remix the old songs if they need to, but to rerecord just doesn't work. It's like remaking an old hit film, and falls flat every time
