Me playing The Runaway by Gentle Giant

Definitely a musician's band, Gentle Giant came straight out of the British 1970s progressive rock scene, though they disliked that term and rarely associated with the rest of the bands under this label. They fused virtually every form of music together into one sound, and incorporated well over 30 instruments in their concerts, while being able to switch fluently from instrument to instrument, but they were FAR from pretentious or robotic. Their music has a special charm in it that makes it academically complex, yet honest to the heart. Any of their albums is a gem for your collection.
