@danieldelaney it can be rather tough, and the flavor is quite bland. i haven't had it in a few years tho, they may have changed the recipe. nothing can ever compare to the real thing =]

@aglanceatmyworld My sense is that homemade bacon is going to be more expensive than industrially produced bacon, but it really has to do with your meat costs, and where you source your product from. If you use a heritage meat, you'll surely be paying more, but will get a better product.
