You Just Don't Know It [S1 E9 "Cake"]

NICKS POV;
I walked into my house and pulled the ingredients for a chocolate cake. The front door closed and I saw Miley walk through the door wearing a hooded button down flannel shirt and jeans. It was way different that what she normally wore, and she wasnt as glammed up but it made her seem more beautiful if you know what I mean- natural. She smiled and looked at the back of the cake box. I handed her measuring cups and we got to work, measuring, pouring, and cracking.
Miley: ok now we have to combine all of these
Nick: ok
We both reached for the spoon at the same time to stir. Our hands touched and I pulled away before she could look at me.
Nick: you can stir
Miley: *laughs* ok

NICKS POV;
We finally put the concoction in the oven to bake. I turned around and we both cracked up. We were both covered head to toe in flour and the ingredients. Things got pretty wacky once we put the spoon away and brought out the mixing machine thingy, whatever its called.
*Joe walks in*
Joe: WHOA, what happened here?
Miley: *smiled* JOEY *hugs him covering him in flour and what not*
Joe: HEY! You did that on purpose!
Miley: that was the plan *high-fives Nick*
Joe: uh guys
Nick: what?
Joe: somethings burning
Nick, Miley: OUR CAKE!
I put on oven mitts and opened the ovens door. Smoke escaped and I reached in, coming out with a charcoal black cake.
Miley: I dont think its supposed to look like that.
Nick: yeah..
Joe: aw man
Miley: what?
Joe: I wanted cake
*Miley stares at him*
Nick: how bout I take us out for cake?
Joe: YAY!
Nick: yeahh uh not you
*Joe frowns then runs away*
Miley: *laughs* ok

MILEYS POV;
Nick fed me a huge bite of triple chocolate cake and I swallowed. Yum. I got some cake on my face and Nick wiped it off.
Nick: is it good?
Miley: here, you try. *forks some off and feeds it to Nick*
Nick: yum *smiles*
I ignored the weird stares coming from people around the bakery. Once Nick and I threw our burnt cake away, we hoped into his car and drove straight to the bakery. Meaning, we were still in our flour-covered clothes.
Miley: Nick?
Nick: yeah?
Miley: *smiles* its my turn to ask you questions
Nick: *smiles* ok
Miley: favorite color?
Nick: red
Miley: ice cream?
Nick: cotton candy
Miley: sport?
Nick: baseball
Miley: movie?
Nick: Juno
Miley: toothbrush color?
Nick: *laughs* yellow
Miley: girlfriend?
Nick: nope
Miley: crush?
Nick: *smiles and laughs* someone
Miley: *smiles* cmon tell me! *looks deep into his eyes*
Nick: well
Miley: you can trust me
Nick: *laughs* can I have more cake
I cut a piece off the cake with our fork and fed it to him. He was stalling, I knew it. What if he liked Selena or Demi?! Or me? I smiled to the last one.
Miley: now can you tell me?
