OK, this track will never appear on any MPG's greatest hits album, but it's a fine example of what the publicity people at Motown had the stars doing in their spare time to keep the Motown name out there and on top.
I'm no song writer, but I reckon I could have had a fair old stab and come up with something similar to this.
This is probably the one track that is missing from many Marvin Gaye fan's collections.
The other side was an interview Marvin did with Loraine Alterman of The Free Press.
@KrfNYC2 - r u kidding? You must not have heard of "It hurt me too", "Hello there angel" or "Pretty little baby" (which he also used to make "Purple Snowflakes" by just changing the words) just to name a few. sandfordway - PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE post the interview from the flip side! I loved all the comments that played while the music had barely started on EVERY song in the Motown Story 5 LP set.

This is nothing compared to Marvin's asolutely brilliant work from the 70's, but it's still Marvin...and I love that.

Outstanding research to find this one. Until now, I've only read about this radio announcement that Marvin did in 1966.
