That "humming" as you put it is on all robots which uses servors to walk on to legs or has arms, or any type of servo actually. It makes these annoying sounds, when they move, that is. On stand by they are much quiet, but not that much.. Its like having a bee which is really loud.

These things cost 10000 $. I advice you not to be looking to buy one any time soon... And it still doesn't seem to be that great, yet.

What's all the constant humming, even though it's not moving? It that some sort of stabilizing gyro or something?
