BMW z4 2.5i muffler delete

K&N apollo intake custom fabricated with an RPI style scoop behind the front grill.. muffler delete with a pair of 3" long exhaust tips..there's not alotta room to work with on a z4..felt like i lost some mid range power but man does it pull after 3500 RPM so i guess its just as good if not better.. "sounds like a v10" is what the muffler specialist said so i guess the video quality doesnt really do it much justice... i wanted a higher pitch like a ferrari but the tips i put on there were to wide and deep.. it really dropped the tone to more of a classic roadster sound..w/out all the gargle sounds..

you know i cant tell how the performance has differed..its alot louder and it makes a sweet noise even more so when your driving through the city..the system was new when i took this..since it has had a chance to break it and it sounds slightly different now.. off the line the back pressure loss seems to make it a bit slower.. but i can get really high on the RPMs without feeling like its slowing...on a side note my convertible motor stopped working... they tend to be faulty in these models

That sounds nothing like a honda ricer. It's clearly got more bass aftertones unlike the higher pitch of a 4 banger revving.

I like the car mate but i'm not to keen on doing all the upgrades it makes it sound like a Honda civic boy racer and takes the class away from the car. But everyone has thier own tastes.

The muffler sounds really good. I'm thinking about buying one of these. Do you plan anymore upgrades and have you had or been told about other problems with these cars? how much was the muffler removal and the entire intake?
