I used to watch this all the time in my high school hippy...er phase I guess is what you call it. Still good shit though.

@happydaze420x And on the wheel Jerry plays the pedal steel ,a rare event. And what a shame , when he played the steel, that jerry signature style sound gave that steel a magic slurpy ouality

@fubsie2 I went and saw it in San Rafael, CA. If you're a Deadhead you know the significance of the region. The place was packed with people young and old reliving and/or experiencing the magical ups and downs of the Dead's set compiled from their Winterland shows for the movie. I remember watching the cartoon on a cassette as a child but for once the bright blinking colors hurt my eyes a little and not my father's. I think it was because I never expected to see it on the big screen!
