2 THINGS HERE 1)judo often spends little time doing groundwork and when they do they neglect many areas not common in a judo match 2)you an get a judo balck belt in less than 3 yrs if you are good competitively,youd still be a blue in bjj in this time in most cases.1 thing i hate about bjj is the lack of takedown practise and sparring

The black belt in the red gi did a terrible job at securing the leg when he had the other fellow in half guard.
