  • i vaguly remember those, i new someone who had one of those and the speeds were only FASTER and SLOWER and whatever inbetween, am I right? i was 4 years old in 1978 and rememebr it well...

  • My cousin had one when we were kids, and even his had that strange martian sound when we played records on it. Must have been inherant in all of them

  • I had one, I was 3. It had no amp, just a needle attached to a plastic speaker in a moving housing assembly under the lid. Real steely, hollow sound mostly. But they were fun and mine miraculously survived, I still have the original box as well.

    Any bids?

  • I had one of these in the late 60's when I was about 5. I did not know what that white switch to the right of the handle did. I seem to recall it only played 45's & it had the large 45 spindle permamently on there though I see this one is playing a small hole 33 record.

  • I upgraded mine to play CDs.

  • I used to have one...actually, I had 2...I wore the first one out...LOL

  • Sounds like it would be fun to sit on or stick in your pants!

  • I never got one. But I made up for it by raiding my big sister's phonograph.

  • HI END

  • @friken0frank2 NO he played a 33rpm 7" record. Those things had variable pitch that could play those type of records.... DUMBASS
