  • The Rascal is a 40 (or Forty) as they like to put it. Would like to try the 110 but i'm taking some time first with little one. Still fairly new to this game but hooked for sure. Once summer does decide to arrive and the winds die down a bit I'll be out there. Cameras and all.

  • Most of my aircraft are 40 to 60 size. The Stinson is my only giant scale gas-burner. I can honestly say, the larger the aircraft, the easier to fly. I'm sure the same is true for the Rascal. The Rascal 110 is just gorgeous.

  • Sweet plane. Is this your first Seagull? Looks like an awesome flyer. I'm waiting for a Yak to arrive from Seagull. Will be my only one of that type i'm sure. Prefer the high wings. Have a Beaver and a Sig Rascal. Now i'm thinking maybe Decathalon. I really hafta stop watching theses vids... Nice flying Chris. Love the plane...

  • Yes, this is my first Seagull. Very well made actually. I had the opportunity to see the wing on this aircraft without covering when doing some crash repairs (Magnum dead stick, down wind at low altitude). The wing is very well built and was easily repaired. Damage was much less than I expected considering the fusealge was a total loss. Also, a few weeks later my neighbor put his decathlon in during an over-control crash - same thing, wing undamaged but fuse a total loss...

  • I love the DeHavilland and the Rascal too. You should post some video of them. Which size Rascal is it?

  • What engine did you use on this flight?

  • This was flown with a Magnum .40 which was WAY under powered.

This aircraft now has a Saito .82 which is perfect for this plane...
