This race is more remembered for the closest finish in F1 HISTORY! That's right. Ayrton Senna beats Nigel Mansell by 0.014 seconds.

  • @opplevelse Smallest victory margins via team orders are not counted, sorry.

  • yeh but 2002 us gp wasnt that more of a team orders finish

  • where is alonso? :p

  • This is in fact the third closest finish in F1. Second is 2002 US GP, with Schumacher and Barrichello's margin being 0.011 seconds. First is 1971 Italian GP, with the margin being 0,010 seconds.

  • The last 30 laps of this race were absolutely riveting with Senna, Prost and Mansell all dicing for the lead. AFAIK this is NOT the closest finish in F1 history. The closest finish was the 2002 US formula 1 GP where Barrichello beat Schumacher by 0.011 seconds.

    This finish was 0.014 seconds.

  • @mystrsyko not!

  • the 1982 austrian grand prix was another close f1 finish

  • XDDD
