Fan Dance [National Competition Entry] - Tamara Kim

I randomly found a video of my solo Fan Dance performance at the National Korean Performing Arts Competition a few years back.

I have trained in a Performing Arts Company for seven years or so, but this was rather impromptu as I was only informed of the competition a few days before it actually took place. So there are bits and pieces that I just made up on the spot. Still, I ended up winning the First Prize, so go figure. ;)

After I won a few consecutive First Prizes, my coach tried to talk me into going to college for it, but I was way too occupied being an aspiring pre-med at the time. My family, full of doctors and professors, didn't help my coach persuade me otherwise, either. Of course, now I am a very happy Psychology and Linguistics double-major at Georgetown University and looking to work in Marketing. Oh well, carpe diem, right? Life can take you to places you have never before imagined.
