@chadow7231 Oh, okay. Thank you! Makes sense!

hi @VenusAsABoyFilms . The earth circles the sun in an imaginary path (its orbit). The Moon does the same around the earth. If we were to imagine that the orbits of both the sun and moon were "solid rings,"we could see the orbit of the moon cross through the orbit of the earth. The intersection of the moon's northward and southward journey around the earth's solar orbit is the called the nodal points

How is are the nodes determined? I still don't know.

Wow, my Moon is actually conjunct the North Node (in Sagittarius/5th house) and I'm very much a homebody, that was really spot on, thanks for letting me know!
-
Oh this makes too much sense. I use to ignore the nodes! Not anymore!
You just answered my question to myself, "Why am I such a Homebody" & my moon is 29 degrees Capricorn & my south node is 3 degrees Aquarius forming a conjunction!
With the 9th house being a mutable house my room looks like a college dorm with laptops, papers EVERYWHERE, notes, paperclips, highlighters, etc! It's my place to STUDY!
I'm actually uncomfortable if I'm away from home for too long! This is amazing!

I have north node in tenth in Aries at 1 degree. My north node according to astrodienst is direct, but I was told that it was supposed to always be retrograde. Anyhow, my north node is Aries at 1 degree, and Virgo and 29/1 degree Libra. Is this possible? What is a north node in tenth house anyway?
-
That's very interesting, thanks! It's funny but I know someone who has the moon on the south node and is very much a taker but she is house bound (perhaps some other influence). Partner did all the shopping, working, chores, and she stayed home on the computer.

Thanks! I was wondering if you knew much about relocation astrology or astrocartography.
How could a person interpret the nodes in each sign and house?

Lilbao,
The lunar nodes require a little more information. Generally, the South Node is attritional and usually has implications of "something wrong or missing" about the sign it is located. The North Node is more positive and adds something to the sign it is posited in. As always, we need to look at the condition of the lord of the sign that the Nodes are in.

hello chadow723.
i'm interested about my nodes. my N.node is in pisces 12th house. 15 degree (by placidus system. and 11th house by koch.) S. node in virgo 6th house conjuct lilith. and pluto trines N. node and sextile S.node. (i have pluto in scorpio 7th house. 10 degree) i think connection of pluto to nodes is important in my chart. what you can say about my nodes?

SUNMARSPLUTO. The Nodes, Ascendant and other Arabic parts such as the Part of Fortune cannot have aspects but are "acted upon" by other planets. What you need to do is look for the ruler of the sign that disposits the nodes for some idea of their condition. I don't use Pluto except for weather or financial charts as the outers are global effects not personally inclined to single you out. It just doesn't rain on one person, if you get my meaning..

My friends say that I'm truly a cosmopolitan person and I fell like home at many places in the world, surrounded by any culture. I'm well-educated, sophisticated, multicultural and intelligent. The south Node is in close conjunction with the moon in the Eleventh House in Sagittarius. I'm definitly not a house mouse. What's your answer or explenation to that?

Frankyboy,
The Moon in the 11th house is erudite and is a well placed position to receive favors from "people of power." The better the sign the stronger the Moon: Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius or Pisces, are considered stronger. Also the planet ruling the sign your moon is located has a great deal of influence in this situation.
