Myst V was not the best game, I will say that, but it was a good way to end the series. Could've been better, but for all intents and purposes, it did what it set out to do well.

@metalraptor What for to stay with old techs in XXI century?.. Don't see any charm in being outdated.
Finally we can plunge into Myst world without those idiotic mouse clicks at every meter.

@LNello The story makes the most sense if you start from the first one, but you'll need a computer that's able to emulate windows 95 since it's such an old game (damn brilliant though). The first is just called Myst btw. The ones that follow are Riven, Exile, Revelation then this one

@actresscp i played Myst 5 first and really liked it and decided to play Myst 4 and other series and was disappointed with real actors. they take away all the mistery from a game. Myst V is the best :)

previous games were...my personal favorite was the fourth
the 2D world in myst 4 was breathtaking. It was as if the computer screen came alive and you stepped into another world. Plus it was already super difficult solving ridles in 2d... now imagine in a sandbox enviroment

when did giant bug like creatures become a part of myst? I miss riven and exile and the days when they used actors instead of computers and it was a more natural, beautiful setting. my friend and I watched this and the big bug and magical tablet just turned us off :( the myst series is spectacular, too.
