Mike got an easy pass into retirement, in this fight. He just sat down, quit fighting, until the bell rang. In my opinion, he didn't deserve such a good send-off. He destroyed years of determined PR that moved boxing out of the gutter into clean world class sporting event. This was acomplished by the great heavy weights on the 60's - 80's.

Maybe God showed some grace after Lennox and Evander physically punished him in public. Otherwise, his demise was self inflicted. Even he knows this now.
