A garage-punk outfit from Toronto, Ontario. you can check out "Everything" on Midwest vs. Canada, Vol. 2; "Everything" is a really powerful garage-punker with great vocals, relentless organ and a pounding rhythm section - one of the best songs of its type to come out of Canada.

  • I been hep to Yorkville label long enough - Ronnie Hawkins etc. But this one is one of it's the greatest releases for all times. Regards to Your Father, whereever He is and thanks for posting such a gem!

  • Great tune but beside the music i love looking at the labels too!

    Cheers for posting

  • The best!

  • So much great garage & psych coming outta Canada during the 60s. Are there Canadian only comps out there that I'm missing? Please respond if ya know. Also, check out TOKENHIPPIES54 for more cool Canadian sides.

  • @Nothin66

yeah I checked the ugly duckling "Nothin'", cool song, thanks for mention. anyway both songs around 66-67, good ol' garage bands days !

  • I like this! I may also have to check out "Nothin'" --- takes me back to a very colorful creative time. Thank you so much for posting this!

  • These guys started off as "The Secrets" & had a big hit with a tune called "Here Comes SHACK" about Eddie Shack of The Toronto Maple Leafs. They were our label mates on "Yorkville Records" in 1967 & did this tune as an answer to our first hit "Nothin".
