In 78' I was watching Gatchamen and Starblazers 1, That stuff blew away crap like Superfriends and other half assed US crap.

I would prefer if they kept the names, intro song, and most importantly, the name of the ship is Space BATTLESHIP Yamato

@vlunney A few years back, the 3rd series producer told Amy Howard Wilson (Nova's voice) that he tried to find the original cast, but as it was six years later and the old cast was not in an actor's union, there was no contact info for them. Their names never even appeared in the credits, so they proved impossible to locate, hence the recasting.

it is funny how "Wildstar" asked him which assignment he liked 8:18 as if it were a flavor of ice cream then already had the answer in mind for Jason, and got good 'n dictatorial. Sounds like my annoying aunt, but a good millitary tactic(if your --IN-- the millitary). I guess the crapper is a good career move to start with then your comander will asses your requested path.(\) I like the dialogue the same way I like the superfriends, it's not "realistic" it's just fun. The animation is anime.++!

This show is fantastic, regardless of its shortcomings. It's a tribute to the art of Japanese anime, which is more exciting than the crap that Hanna-Barbera and Filmation put out in the 1960s and 1970s!

@vlunney Hmmm I see well I still think that they should have stayed and do the voices because this season has a good plot adventure and all but I rely don't watch this season because as I said I have a hard time getting used to the fact that the voices are different. I have done some research and Ive read that since the voices are different and this season came out a few years later ''THE BOLAR WARS'' are not as popular with the fans including myself

the original actors drifted off after comet empire. do some research, the actors who played derek and nova still attend science conventions and the rest are listed as dead or missing.NONE of them knew what they had been part of, to them at the time they were just doing voice work! :)
