Joplin High School was hit hard by a massive EF5 tornado that destroyed Joplin, Missouri. This is a view inside the tornado that killed over 150 people.

Im from up North in Canada eh, we don't have the climate for tornadoes (on the east coast anyways). So, I guess my question is how to you survive something like this. Do you guys have shelters, or do you go in your basement? How much of a warning was there before the tornado hit your area?
