This client had a specific idea in mind: an elegant Amazon hardscape with subdued lighting effects to use as a room divider in his home. Selecting a large group of juvenile blue diamond discus complimented by a engrossing schools of cardinal tetra and rummynose, as well as two exotic plecos and a shoal of geophagus. Here we take the aquarium from start to finish through the installation process. Enjoy!
sooo big for nothing!!

Beautiful biotope although I think I would have preferred a root wood with a vertical angle added rather than the rooks.

I really like the LED lights giving the effect of 'halos' in certain places in the tank. Wish it had plants but I can understand why it would be VERY difficult to deal with plants in a tank this size. Too bad they didn't have a clear back so you could see it from both areas in the house.
Excellant engineering to place all of that into that very thin wall and build out a canopy and stand enclosure. This is worthy of being on 'Tanked'. ;-)

I love this design, the placement, the concept, however that bigger driftwood piece looks odd in that tank, too vertical, with not enough emphasis on diagonals and horizontals, it acts only to stress the odd shape of the tank to begin with. I wonder if anyone else picked up on this. Was it the customer's picking or what?
