can marching tricks and stuff like this be used on a drum set? I've never been in a marching band but play drums,and next year i was gonna try it out thats why im asking would playing drums in a marching band(snare or tenor drums) help with new ideas for the kit?

Does anybody know about the metal sticks he started using at 1:56? Has an actual manufacturer started making those or are they still being hand-made in somebody's garage?

Totally agreed, but there is one thing you and I, or any of the marching percussion community for that matter, will never be able to change. There will always be show bands that perform to impress, without acknowledging rudimentary skills, sound quality, or mental focus.

For those that have marched/march, you understand. For those that don't, it's impossible to explain.

something to add to that nick cannon took 3 month to learn a double stroke roll so i dont think people would want to have him as a role model.
