I love the book more than any other but I think a Duma Key movie is a bad idea. It just doesn't seem right. however a movie about Elizabeth's life would be good in my book
My copy just came in the mail and I am bitterly disappointed Scribner, Simon & Schuster chose such tiny print and pale ink. They cheated not only the reader public but Stephen King who took 30 years to write possibly the crown jewel of his career. I'm just sick with disappointment.
Just finished the book and I must say, I could NOT put the book down. The story is great and characters good, but is it just me or was anyone else disappointed with the ending? It had, in my opinion, a chance to be his second best book(#1- the stand), but that ending seemed soooo stupid to me.
