5-1 Flying upwards at the vertical turn on the right of the second screen would be faster.

5-2 Getting cutter from the miniboss might not be a bad idea to deal with 5-4 screen 1. It also gives ya some ammo for the 5-4 miniboss.

5-5 Scrolling screen for the rainbow piece is easy if you know what yer doing. Intentional death to save time.

Revised Strategy:
5-1 will be faster with the stage 4 revised strategy, which lets you have burning earlier. Screen 2 keep burning instead of losing it for faster falling speed.
5-2 vast speed increase with burning, either kill cutter miniboss with burning or use as ammo, doesn't matter.
The rest is more or less identical to my current strat.
