As both a Republican and veteran that voted for (and still support) the President and his noble efforts, I find tongue-in-cheek humor in the rants of some above; I find humor in Bill Engel's joke "And they walk among us..." It is a testament to all our nation stands for in both freedom and liberty that such comedic morons still exists. The Limbaugh, Hannity, Colter and Beck circus clowns are getting rich off such two digit IQs.

Alfred Nobel made it so since Sweden and Norway was as one back at the time, he even wrote that
"Prise[t]... för fredsförfäktare [utdelas] af ett utskott af fem personer som väljas af Norska Stortinget".

I didn't realize how meaningless the Nobel prize was until they gave one to al gore. Before that, I had assumed the Nobel group gave awards only to those who truly earned them. But now that they have given The obama one too, I can see that the al gore one wasn't just a one-off mistake. Apparently all these years I was just naive in believing that the Nobel prize actually meant what it was supposed to mean. It's a damn shame....

That's ridiculous... American Idol does it with just 3 or 4 morons, why does the Nobel Committee need a hundred. Face it this is now nothing more then a popularity contest, and carries no weight anymore.
They have jump the shark on this. Carter, Gore and now the dumbest fucking president in the history of this country has proven that! You can thank liberals and affirmative action for putting marginal people in position of power... all under the guise of trying to be fair!
