Natural Gas Drilling in Apartment Complex

Urban Drilling at it's best: Mentor, Ohio 2008. Deepwood Apartments. Drilling 50 ft from parked cars and 100 ft from resident homes. Ohio law does not require neighbors be notified prior to a gas well going in unless your water well is within 300 ft from the gas well site. These citizens first knew about the drilling when they awoke in the middle of the night to this lit rig with no mufflers blaring away. In 2007 the company in question was accused and investigated by the EPA of massive contamination from gas well/pit runoff. After 2006, Mentor, OH fell off the national best cities to live in list.
