Garmin G600 Upgrade - Panel complete - First power up of system!!!

On initial power up we can see that the video high and low inputs to the stormscope were backwards, no harm done just gave reversed video that was overdriven, also you can see that the flight director bars on the standby attitude indicator are pegged high. Turns out that the latest version of the G600 install manual shows that you need to apply a ground to the FD retract pin to get those bars to stay down. They are no longer used as the information is only to be displayed on the G600 after everything has been aligned and adjusted, no more parallax error in viewing the attitude reference or flight director bars!!

Setting up and loading new software and entering v speeds..and setting comm ports is just about as bad in my opinion as hooking up all the damn wires.. be sure to "save to config module" after you get it right. A gad 43 would allowed you to ditch that KI 256 PoS. :-) nice baron though.
