XRRA Xtreme Rock Racing

Extreme Rock Racing from RockPort Off-Road Park Hannibal Missouri,June 30th 2007.
XRRA Rock Racing is the most Xtreme Off-Road racing action ever witnessed. A competitor has to stay within the confines of the course and the only judge is the stopwatch. Just straight forward timed runs. The action is fast paced and the atmosphere is all sportsmanship. Though it is a race against time, the challenge is to finish. At the end of the day, seconds make the difference. It amounts to the difference between the shift of the clutch or the finesse of the throttle. A driver's ability to make a split second decision determines the outcome. Racers/Drivers must rely on skill and picking the right line rather than simply throttling through. Drive too aggressively and you may end up cage down. The wide-open action is as much fun for the spectators as it is for the Drivers.

don't worry about these guys and the comments they leave I have done rock racing with a friend and the smae friend that does it with his buggy also rc races so I know that both require a great deal of skill the only thing is they require a completely different kind of skill so just have fun in whatever kind of hobby you choose because you chose it, you like it, and thats all that matters

Pointless to argue with these kind of kids. They have RC cars trying to be the same vehicles, yet want to try and say it takes no skill. Its a kid, you can argue all day that the red crayon isn't red. Lawn mower racing has more skill than anything that has to do with RC cars.

It would take alot more skill to actually drive a buggy than to play with joy sticks while you watch a piece of plastic play in the grass. I mean seriously, if anyone could do it, why would they make a "sport" of the same thing with mini cars?
