After the RAID on a small Oregon farm, came wild dogs and, the soon to be famous sheep slaughter

Why do farmers need guns? Or anybody for that matter really. It is a big question these days. What follows is a great example of what can happen when a person is deprived of the right to defend him or herself and their home and those living things that depend upon them.
In remote areas, when trouble comes down on your head, the only thing that stands between the lives and deaths of the livestock, and the people in these remote areas and farms, is the ability of the people themselves to do something about it. The police in this area are famous for often taking several hours to show up in response to a 911 call. We have dozens of stories from many private and business owners supporting this claim.

The police here, the same ones who initiated a Raid by RAID and OSP set us up to be vulnerable and to feel unprotected.
In this case, as horrible as it is, there couldnt be abetter example of why we own legal firearms.
When dogs attack in a pack there are few ways to get them to stop other than the ability to shoot, One can either shoot to deter or shoot to stop them.
Try taking on a frenzied pack of dogs by hand or armed only with a knife or a stick. I have. While I lived through it, I also suffered many bites and injuries.
Farmers, ranchers, and the like need their guns in order to keep their live stock and their families safe.

Coordinated police departments and what I believe to be RAID including Ray Meyers, invaded a private property with a trumped up warrant, (more on that later).
They confiscated a legal amount of legal medical marijuana for real medical patients, legally owned firearms, and many private items from legal US born Americans who were and are not drug dealers in any sense of the term.

"They targeted us, and since they have put our picture up on the news, the radio, and so on, alongside murderers and thieves. They make claims that are absolultely untrue regarding the thihngs found here...and yet they avoid mentining the facts, such as the fact that the firearms were legal and legally owned prior to their play. No large amounts of cash were found, the property was under improvements and development as a food producing farm, and so on.
I wont go into too much detail but this is a start.

I really appreciate the energy and time it took to write this and to give us a case to refer to.

The problem is that things have changes drastically over the last several years.

This may be true and pertinent still I am not sure, but since the enactment of the Patriot Act, the constitutional rights we all have taken for granted are in many ways null and void. Our constitutional rights have been almost totally disarmed by these new laws which supersede what we have been taught to believe.

Thank you for your comments. We are a small family, living within our means and barely keeping up with monthly bills. Keep an eye out for future uploads.

While we dont have the means and power it takes to send out press releases to main stream media like the Police d. We do have the net and it allows us to get our story out there.

The police bias spun in the media is so false its amazing. The facts will come out. Once that happens it will start to tell the real story.

Guardian dogs?? Every one your missing the fucking point. Protect the rights to bare arms. What is going on in this nation ? This is not to be tolerated .. Regardless of one political views . We must as a nation keep our rights.  This is bigger then most of you understand !

Have you considered livestock guardian dogs? I have found them very effective when guarding in pairs. They will chase off wild dogs, wolves, cougar, bear, etc. I had the same problem you had until I put a pair of Anatolian Shepherds to work. I have since imported Caucasian Ovcharkas and Turkish Kangal Dogs. No problems since. By the way, your firearms were seized illegally unless you have a criminal record.
