Pink Floyd David Gilmour UNEDITED VERSION Comfortably Numb Pulse

This is the best version of this solo out on the internet. It is a crime that they didn't add the full solo to the DVDs. I think there should be more live versions of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd available. I own all the cds/albums/a few tapes, and ALL the DVDS. And I would buy them again if they would include the extended unedited cuts. LONG LIVE PINK FLOYD. I love David Gilmour.

@Davidekap There are some guitarists that should NEVER, EVER, be edited. David Gilmour is at the top of that list.

@zdlore1985 I also think that Gilmour approved the edit, rather I think that HE did it (as coproducer of the movie)... maybe he thought that even if all his fans liked it (of course we do!) it would have been too long for a commercial use of the movie! That's my personal opinion :)

@Davidekap It is unfortunate it was edited, but i'm pretty sure Gilmour approved the edit. Even with the edited dvd version the solo is still like 5 minutes long, and Gilmour probably felt that one minute wasn't as strong as the rest of the solo. I highly doubt the floyd engineer, James Gutherie, hacked the solo without Gilmour's approval because the band like the floyd has final say on edits to their concert.
