This is a final project I did with my friends Tay and Angie for a film studies/english class about vampires (and their relationship to immigration, nationalism, xenophobia, etc). We re-edited a flash animation called "Rise of Alfred" by Emily Youcis (which is awesome, by the way) to make a new story.
Alfred Alfer, a Mexican immigrant, lives life in the US alone and unloved. All he wants is to be accepted, to show that he's a good person, and to make people happy with tasty Mex-American food. When he's bitten by a "vampire bug," he decides that all he really needs in this country are money, fame and minions. Not the most optimistic plot, but it's supposed to be funny, and there's only so much you can do with pre-shot footage. Enjoy!
Guest Starring my friend Harold as Keanu Reeves!
What a wonderful exegesis of a great animation!

@vaguelyhumanoid Why, thanks very much! I definitely think "The Rise of Alfred" is much better, but I tried to do it at least some justice.
