Mike Lazaridis stepped down from his position in RIM. In regards to the outage, the main issue was that all the RIM representatives did not tell "any" information about the outage. I remember the first press conference.. they basically "did not care". Period. The "only way" that RIM will keep in the game is this. "SLASH / CUT THE PRICES OF YOUR OVERPRICED PHONES AND TABLET !" That.. is the only way they will stay in the mobile market.

RIM is dead this 2012. We cannot see it alive in 2013. Which means Blackberry is dead.I'm so excited it is DOOMED!. iPhone and Android FTW

Just make it up, those market share charts in the US aren't looking too good for you. Get the new devices out NOW. Maybe the OS 7 devices would've been nice last summer, but its not amazing this time in the year. If i don't see the newer deices by April, I'm done with you guys, I already deal with a lack of some apps. I don't have anymore time to waste with under powered hardware (BOLD 9650)

What I don't get is that the service has run perfectly well and has maintained a global network of mobile devices (an enormous task in itself) for years on end, but as soon as the network goes down for a couple of days, everybody suddenly turns against them?! It takes a monumental amount of effort to keep that system running, and it's only natural that it would slip up one day. I, frankly, find it amazing that they got the entire system up and running again in under a week!
