A digital time counter from the 50s. It uses self-switching neon tubes with internal switching electrodes. It counts the pulses from light passing through a paper disk that is spun by a timing motor. The time base is selected by moving the light bulb over different holes. It is for sale at PurposefulSurplus.com
There is a jumper clip on the back that enables the timer, so it could measure the duration of a contact closure. The paper disk clock generator seems to have a little bit of a wobble, but everything still works.
