i love how all the states i have lived in are now being weed friendly =) its such a better America

@jagerballs yes but why do medical reasons legitimize smoking pot? that is a comepletely ignorant arguement. just because people are doing it in pursuit of pleasure and recreation does not mean marijuana should be illegal. pot fests are always peaceful. whereas if you go to a concert where alcohol is served it is an entirely different story.

I smoke marijuana and I hate hippies like this. If I was someone who had never smoked marijuana and I saw this rally i'd think "Wow, pot smokers are fucking crazy" What people ought to be doing is stating the facts, like the fact that marijuana is virtually impossible to overdose on (Unless you can manage to consume 1,500 pounds of marijuana w/ 15% in 15 minutes without passing out) or the fact that its safer and more effective than most "Medicines"

Some of those people make regular marijuana smokers look like idiots.

and furthermore, drum beats and "hippie chick" dancing isn't the way to persuade a state to lift its restrictions on marijuana. I would be a well organized argument and maybe a petition would be a better route to go.
Too many people insist on mixing the 60's and 70's culture of cannabis with modern day medicinal use. Until the two are separated, the states will resist as they always have.
This demonstration looks like a bunch of recreational users who want to legalize pot.

Idiot bitch at the beginning isn't helping the cause one bit....

Good job, NH. Both the police and the demonstrators acted responsibly.

Stealing is legitimately illegal, because it has a victim. Take it to an individual level. Do you have a right to defend yourself, if someone tries to steal from you? Of course.
Initiating aggressive violence against someone who's not harming anyone, or anyone's property, is wrong. On an individual level, you wouldn't go around with a gun attacking people who consume things you personally don't approve of -- say, cigarettes, so why would you hire the government to do it for you?
