because the apex weighs 575 pounds and the polaris weighs about 490 XD

thats like almost 100 pounds more so forsure it would sink.

& i have a polaris edge x 800 and my buddy has a yamaha apex 1000 and i jump over the drifts and everything while he ploughs through him like crazy.

stupid yamaha wrecking the purpose of snowmobiling with their 4 strokes :P

did you know, Snowmobiles dont have much boyancy but the air at those speeds goes under like a catamaran(not quite) but more than any jetski! and they have more power also, but they arent very efficient, its just like powder snow, but really thick DRYDRYDRY powder,, you stop n' your dead. i'd rather have a 0 boyance sled with over 800cc and 2'½ of rubber on my track
