Such a shameful irony that communist china, whose original "intention" was to "liberate" the socially oppressed, is still oppressing the socially disadvantaged, given the corruption and greed that is still prevalent among their governing "elites"

Though there was a huge controversies that surround the early eras of RoC, but at least the leaders of RoC were not imbecile enough to create en-masse tragedies resulted from failed policies. Communist China had failed policies such as the Great Leap, the notorious Cultural Revolution and the Tiananmen Incident etc which seen the death of millions of chinese.

Yeah, I was never a fan of hearing Mao Zedong's regime, nor Xianping's. Seems like we need a China that follows Sun Yat-Sen's principles again... That was wise of him to move people that wanted freedom to Taiwan. Just a shame that the big China outweighs it, tho. :(

@randomfatblob the return of imperial china sounds great but real imperial china is not qing dynasty, the qing manchus banned traditional han clothing(the hanfu) and forced han chinese to have the same hairstyle as them

ANY form of a chinese Republic is NOT a real china. the ONLY real china is IMPERIAL china. unless we have an emperor again and follow CONFUSIOUS believes, then there is no more china any more. we need to destory the communist governemtn in china and the republican governemtn on taiwan and restart the dynastic cylces for they are the only real governemnt china should ever have!
