For Our People: CALEDONIA Under Siege

Natives terrorizing the citizens of Caledonia and occupy Douglas Creek Estate.

This is the story of David Brown and Dana Chatwell who have launched a $12-million lawsuit against the Ontario Provincial Police and the provincial government, due to a complete lack of police protection.

Most shockingly is that the OPP secretly installed a hidden surveillance camera inside the family's home

When native protesters first occupied the development on Feb. 28 last year, Brown said police provided around-the-clock protection at the home.
That ended after heavily armed OPP officers raided the site on April 20 and carted off native protesters, touching off a massive standoff. Natives poured onto the site and blockaded major routes around the subdivision, including Argyle Street. The OPP pulled back from the site and suddenly the family was forced to cross police lines and native barricades to get to and from their home.
That's when the family's nightmare kicked into high gear.
"The natives made us a 'passport' signed by Mohawk security with our address on it," Brown said yesterday.
Natives searched their car and sometimes took items out of their trunk, including groceries, he added.
The couple's statement of claim to the court alleges native protesters engaged in extreme lawless conduct and, because the OPP did not stop it, the family was left living in fear for their personal safety. [Hamilton Spectator -- Sept 22, 2007]

  • @RoyalistCavalier totaly diffrent scenario, they didnt go through the same thing and niether did we

  • @MIDNIGHTCATRM yes maybe, but also our language is disappearing and assimilating us into the rest of the surrounding community would most likely end up with us losing our selves in fact this was the governments idea about a hundred years ago, in order to try to kill the Indian, and erase us from history. we need our identity, its our most valuable thing we hold without it we are nothing. as for taxes perhaps? but keep in mind the government does owe us alot of money.

  • @misfitsfan28 well, what if everyone payed taxes and everyone was equal and could build and live on any land they want? than we would be better country, i mean think about it? now i know its not just in Canada but if everyone else did that, the world would be a better place. same with blacks, whites, Asians and natives. i think Canada would be a better place if we were all equal. in my opinion

  • @MIDNIGHTCATRM why do u think its like that? could it be because of assimilation, mayby the genocide, and you wonder why people are going through poverty on the reservation

  • @RoyalistCavalier also thats a theory, its been proven that we were for longer, because theyre finding bones that have actualy been around much much more longer than 10,000years,

  • @MIDNIGHTCATRM well it was the youth who would start that stuff, ps while your relaxing and sipping your coffee, there are small children starving in your own god damn country fucking shame full

  • @cayugawolf1 i really don't care about that little creek, all it was good for was a couple of houses....PS why do we have Toronto Montreal and all that land if its NOT OURS....at the end of the day Canada can just laugh and say wow look what5 those people did..pretty immature..who cares were still in the g8 doing well so i really don't care that much :)

  • @misfitsfan28 um whatever..i forget what i even commented......stop trolling bro! i really don't care that much because i know that when i go to the reserve and all the other native places i see old houses, casinos and smoke shops in trailers...when i go to a clean cared about area like edmonton, montreal, toronto......i dont see smoke shops

  • @RoyalistCavalier u make me relize how evil the rest of the world is, after all were do u think the idea of a democracy came from, hmmm or elections well certainly not from some close minded monarchs

  • @misfitsfan28 Here is more information on foreign colonization in Asia. The majority populaiton of both Malaysia and Indonsia are Mongoloids, but they are not the "Native" peoples of Indonesia and Malyasia. The native people's of Malaysia are the Australoids (Aboriginese). You see the Mongoloids from China and South East Asia invaded Indonesia and Malaysia and conquered and nearly exterminated the Aboriginese of these countries. So it is not just the big bad Europeans who colonize foreign lands.
