@3ISAMAGICNUMBR We've done that with our cats too and never had a problem but we live in a very quite and safe neighborhood with minor traffic and only rabbits voles and birds for wildlife. Some people don't have the luxury of being able to let their cats outside worry-free because of their living environment.

@3ISAMAGICNUMBR The human act to humanize their pets is to assume their requirements equal our own...they don't, they never will.

@wolfie83 Humans are the most unnatural animals in the world and even we hate being indoors to much.
-
@3ISAMAGICNUMBR Because dogs are usually behind a freaking fence that they can't ninja over like cats do...and the stupid concept is the one you failed to grasp, cats and dogs are DOMESTICATED so what they might have done in the wild has no bearing on a thousand years as pets.
As long as they receive food, water and enough stimuli there is nothing wrong with an animal being indoors. Next you'll be posting to videos of fish that its cruel they're kept in tanks. Jeeze.

@mariposa0283 So explain to me, why dogs are allowed to go outside but not cats? Its a stupid concept to keep a natural animal inside its entire life.

@3ISAMAGICNUMBR we dont tell you how to take care of your pets, do us a solid and refrain from telling us how to take care of ours. ive had indoor/outdoor cats, ive had strictly indoor... i prefer my cats inside where they're safe and i know where they're at (for the most part). i'd rather him be in here than outside tearing shit up and getting himself hurt and killing other animals. call me paranoid or whatever but i prefer my pets alive. im not going to risk it by letting him outside.

@3ISAMAGICNUMBR If you want to let your cat run on the freeway thats up to you, my cat is 100% indoors and I consider that responsible ownership.

Me and my family have let our cat outside since he was a kitten and he's 14 years old and in perfect health, and not declawed. Let your cat outside to do his/her own thing! Its natural! Don't use a leash.

@3ISAMAGICNUMBR oh and BTW there are cougars in the area, house cats make good predatory animal food! So I actually think of my cats safety and well being.
