i still dont have my voice back, have the first ear infection of my life (which is a fucking good time) and a friend asked me to cover a song for her..it was either this or something by dashboard...I opted for this. faked the song. I actually enjoyed their selftitled cd. It didnt do so well...

Well, I guess I can't comment with a website reference. There's a site called The Internet Archive (archive (dot) org) -- go there and do a search for Brian Vander Ark Arab American Museum. That version of this song is as it was originally written and slightly different musically.

They still do several shows a year -- usually around Michigan in December. Though, this fall/winter they will be in Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, and Birmingham, AL, as well. If you enjoy the songwriting, you should check out the lead singer, Brian Vander Ark's solo stuff.

Haven't heard this one in ages.. Seriously excellent cover man, especially for faking it. If you hadn't said that I would have though you were trying to strip it down and roots it up a bit. Thanks for posting. And for some unknown reason I feel like voting Ron Paul.

I couldn't stop singing this song when it first came out... I always wondered what happened to Verve Pipe? Anyway, great rendition!
