Barry Manilow's "Mandy"

I would like to dedicate this song to my great friend Mr. Steve Eaton, from Idaho, U.S.A., who is a world-renowned singer, songwriter & musician. Please check him out at http://www.steveeaton.net. He is truly an amazing guy, and has written many songs for various artists. I will only mention a few to whet your appetite Art Garfunkel, The Carpenters and Glen Campbell.

This has been a long time coming. I have been a Barry Manilow fan for a long time. So now is the time for me to pay tribute to the wonderful singer, songwriter, musician he is.

The basic part of the backing track was taken from a MIDI file, and the instruments were created in Cakewalk SONAR. The vocals were recorded with the Rode NT1000 and went through the Mackie Onxy Satellite IO. The guitar on the dual solo was the Fender Strat USA. Once again I would like to pay tribute to my engineer David Todd for his patience first of all, but also for his technical skills and abilities. For without this man I would not be nothing. LOL!

The last time I wore this tuxedo was at last year's grammy awards, and it was the only thing I brought home that night. The photos were taken by David Todd using his Canon DSLR.

@TessiJokersMelodie Hello there my confused friend. It is the Barry Manilow song but I am singing it, just in case you didn't realise that and I am playing the guitar solo.
