I have/had the Tx2z also, I agree with everyone else, this laptop impresses you at first but then it becomes the orphan laptop. It's very needy. I maintained it. Checked and monitored it every other day, and I still had to send it back to HP for a record 5 times. I had 3 laptops prior (all are still working to this day), and this laptop was the first to go. Also the youngest of the 4. The hard drive failed. Dead Pixals, and other random ailments. If you can, stay away from this laptop.

This computer was pretty cool for about the first week but i soon reilized that this notebook had some serious flaws, like: CRAP Battery life, FAN is louder than a 40000 screaming kids. I will say though it was pretty cool that it came with the Lightscribe that is pretty cool. But is this "notebook" Worth 8 to 9 hundred dollars I THINK NOT!!!!! Go buy a way better computer for your money this was a scam 6/10 I mean it dosent even have a HDMI port... F this horrible machine!!!! Sad HP DID ME JUNK

I had the tx2-1375dx model but I got rid of it because of the mediocre battery life and annoying fan.

I've that same one, dude on the back is a normal dial-up phone jack, on the side (What you called Lan) is the actual Ethernet/RJ45 Port, the sensor you pointed at for the remote isn't bluetooth it's IR(Infra Red).. Also the slot for the remote control acts as an ExpressCard/34 Slot too...
