  • really nice set up, if i had of chosen a spot to fish it would have been were you had the camera pointing at 1:19 :)

  • @IgarcoI

would you fish close in or towards the far margins?

Both can be good spots ;)

  • I always was amazed at how much money you carp fanatics spend. I always just flyline a single hominy kernal, or a Chickpea, and I always catch monsters with simple 20 dollar walmart gear... Keep in mind this was definitely not an insult, carp fishing is VERY fun. How much do those bite indicators cost?

  • @mmmmmarcus

Hi Marcus, I agree, the amount we spend on gear is insane! But this lake can be extremely difficult as there are usually 20 guys on there each day of the week, 50 weeks of the year trying to catch the fish. Therefore, most of the gear is essential.

How much for the bite alarms? They're about £120 each for Delkims but they should last many years if looked after properly.

  • Eight fishing rod and 0 fish

We caught fish, just no big ones on this occasion. The purpose of this short film is to show people what Rainbow lake actually looks like - as many people will never get the opportunity to fish there.

Hey, thanks for your constructive comments. May I suggest that in the future, if you are gonna make a comment you learn to spell correctly....

    Retard.

  • @dodgesucksballs

The point is - you watched it..

This is the best carp lake in the world and this is one of the best pegs. Most people will never be able to fish the lake so it gives people a chance to be able to see for themselves what the lake actually looks like.

    You happy now?

The set ups consist of stainless steel banksticks, stainless steel buzzer bars, Delkim bite alarms or Fox bite alarms and Fox swingers for the visual bite indicators.

Hope this is what you were looking for. cheers.

  • what are the pole holders called and how much do they cost?

  • @chmellen
