Not an actual P-51. Not an actual crash. Unless you mean an actual virtual crash of an actual virtual P-51, in which case this was totally a P-51. And you can't follow the logic just now presented, you should probably just let it go and enjoy my amazing film.

I put it together because I wanted to test iMovie for the iPhone along with a new app from Nexvio called "8mm". 8mm lets you record videos with real-time film effects applied. In this case, I used the b/w 1920s film setting along with various other options that affected the border of the movie (sometimes the edges are faded; other times the film looks burnt - I was flipping switches without discretion).

iMovie is great for what it is (a $5 non-linear video editor for a phone). 8mm is great for what it is (a $2 way to turn your iPhone's camera into a toy).

My one beef with 8mm is that it doesn't record in 720. That said, it doesn't make much of a difference since the videos are intentionally degraded in quality to affect the appearance of, again, a film form the 1920s. The nice thing about 720 support would be that the video would look better when watching fullscreen. All the same... for $2, I need to shut up and be happy.

The flight "footage" is from X-Plane on my iPad. To get the recording, I simply used X-Plane's replay feature to play the crash back from a few different angles which I edited together in iMovie.

That's about it. There's no deeper meaning here. There's no moral. I'm not trying to teach you anything. I'm just an ordinary genius trying to entertain you for a minute. For free.

That's all I'm gonna say. It's granola bar o'clock. I need to have my daily meal of three chocolate-mint granola bars. You wouldn't believe how long you can survive on three chocolate-mint granola bars a day. I don't know how long I've been doing it as my memory has failed, most likely due to low nutrient content caused by not eating, but it feels like it's been a long time.

Thanks for your time. You're great. Really great. No. Really. I'm serious.

You're just not as important to me as granola bars.
